The President's Club Award is scored rather than nominated. GAF sets numeric thresholds in three categories and a contractor either clears them or does not. Colonial Roofing cleared all three on the strength of work completed across Southwest Florida and the Tampa Bay region during 2025.
The Award Measures Installed Volume, Tenure and Training
GAF's award letter identifies the specific criteria Colonial Roofing met to earn One Star for excellence:
- Performance — installed and registered 2,000 Golden Pledge® and Silver Pledge™ Limited Warranty squares during 2025
- Performance — installed 3,000 Rewards squares during 2025
- Reliability — at least two consecutive years as a GAF Master Elite® Contractor, including 2025
- Training — earned 30 Learning Credits during 2025
Each of those is a volume or completion count tied to a calendar year, which is what separates the President's Club Award from a certification a contractor holds indefinitely. It has to be earned every year.
Registered Warranties are Verifiable
A Golden Pledge® or Silver Pledge™ warranty is not automatic on a GAF roof. The contractor has to be certified to offer it, install the qualifying system, and then register the job with GAF, which is why certification status is worth checking before a contract is signed.

President's Club Standing Requires Master Elite Certification First
Only GAF Master Elite® contractors are eligible, and the reliability criterion requires holding that certification for consecutive years. Colonial Roofing earned Master Elite® certification in 2025 and 2026, which established the eligibility this award is built on.
The company holds a parallel designation on the commercial side. Colonial Roofing was named a 2025 and 2026 GAF Platinum Elite™ Commercial Contractor, a separate track covering low-slope and flat roofing systems on commercial and multifamily buildings. The President's Club Award announced here is the residential track. Both, along with the company's other manufacturer certifications, are listed on the Colonial Roofing industry affiliations page.
